About Orca Masonry
Love Where You Live — that’s our line, and it’s why we build things right. Orca Masonry has been turning homes into spaces people actually want to live in for seven years: patios, walkways, driveways, chimneys, fireplaces, and everything in between, all across Greater Victoria. We’re a Saanich-based crew, hundreds of jobs deep, rated 5.0 on Google.
The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has recognized us three times: Business of the Year (11-39 employees) in 2021, a finalist for Outstanding Workplace of the Year in 2023, and in 2025, the leading masonry company in Saanich — top 1% of Canadian businesses on quality score.
We’re growing, and we need someone who can sell masonry (brick, stone and block) work the same way we build it: straight, solid, and worth the money.
What you’ll be doing
- Be the first face a client sees from Orca — first impressions are on you
- Walk job sites, size up the scope, and put together accurate estimates using our estimating app, then turn that into a clear proposal for the client
- Confirm and formalize sales into signed contracts
- Build relationships with contractors, property managers, and homeowners
- Coordinate with the crew on timelines, materials, and project details
- Keep an eye on industry trends and market opportunities
- Show up to trade shows and industry events to keep Orca’s name out there
- Hold up the same standard of care Orca’s built its name on
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years selling in construction — masonry preferred
- Know how to estimate a masonry job and price it right
- A track record of hitting sales numbers, not just chasing them
- Comfortable talking to homeowners, contractors, and decision-makers alike
- Know your materials: brick, block, and stone
- Can work a territory solo and still coordinate well with the crew
- Comfortable with estimating software and a CRM
- Valid driver’s license — you’ll be on the road to job sites regularly
Pay & benefits
- Base salary + commission
- Company vehicle provided for client site visits
- Health and dental coverage
- 10 vacation days, 5 paid sick days
- Room to grow as we grow
